College is all about experiences, my experiences so far have been nothing but fruitful and if I may, blessed.

One of the best experiences I have had have been meeting a group of individuals my age that are willing to learn about car culture and one who teaches us more about it.So far this year I have finally gotten my feet on a clutch... still can’t drive stick for my life, but I’m finally learning.

The black Fox in these images joined the group last month, it hasbeen on and off the road, but it’s given me the chance to learn more about cars in a way I never thought at would at this stage of my life. My friend who owns it also has a late 60’s cougar and sister parts car back at his home in Washington state and today we went for one last ride, before we took out the transmission.

Right after the drive we managed to pull the T-5 in his driveway off campus.

And yes we did have pizza last night, as soon as the transmission was free from the car, it was placed on the kitchen table for operation.

The problem itself was that when my friend called me last month the night he bought the car, we went to pick it up the next morning and few miles away from the old owners house it stopped shifting into second gear. My friend had a theory that one problem would be some clps on the Shift-forks could be worn.

The T-5 itself showed signs of a prior and recent rebuild, which explains the cleanliness and apparently it’s pretty healthy. He’s still taking it to a shop for further and a more professional diagnosis. the fox will be in this state until I return from break a bit early to help put it back together, so stay tuned. And for those who care, my own car has been running fine, I drained the fluid and replaced the filter and the shudder has comepletely dissapeared for good it seems.
